Care for Your Puppy & Kitten in Lewisville, TX

HEALTH AND WELLNESS SERVICES

Wellness Examination:

During your pet’s wellness exam, Dr. Salib will perform a complete physical evaluation of your kitten or puppy – from nose to tail. This includes inspecting their teeth and gums to identify any signs of decay or gum disease. Depending on their history, he might also recommend diagnostic blood tests to screen for common diseases.

Vaccinations:

Vaccinating reduces your kitten or puppies risk of contracting certain diseases that can affect their quality of life and spares you the cost of expensive treatments for something that can be prevented. Additionally, we recommend you vaccinate your furry friends to protect your human family from exposure to zoonotic diseases. Head over to our Pricing page to look at the vaccine packages we offer!

Heartworm & Flea Preventatives:

Heartworms and fleas are much easier to prevent than to treat; living in Texas, we know your puppy or kitten at risk for these parasites and others all year round. At Old Orchard Animal Clinic, our staff is equipped to help you find the best parasitic preventative for your furry friend. For more info on prevention, screening, and medication, give our office a call today.

Surgery:

We know how stressful it is when your puppy or kitten needs surgery, regardless of the scope of the operation. Dr. Salib is dedicated to gentle care and minimally-invasive procedures to reduce the physical and emotional stress for both of you. From simple procedures such as spaying and neutering to more complex procedures, you can trust Old Orchard Animal Clinic to treat your beloved fur baby as if he or she were our own.

Diagnostic Testing:

Sometimes diagnosing your cat takes more than just a wellness exam. We are fortunate to have an x-ray and an ultrasound machine in our facility to ensure you get the answers you need, fast.

Nutritional Consultations:

Whether your kitten or puppy are vomiting from eating, itching or not eating their food, Dr. Salib will counsel you in the best ways to improve their quality of life through nutrition. We have a full range of prescription foods for purchase in our office, and we're happy to give you samples to test out on your furry family member.

Accidents happen, and when they do your cat will need medical attention from an experienced professional immediately. Call us right away if your puppy or kitten experiences any of the following:
